Job Summary

As a Business Development Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business growth through effective vendor development, channel partner management, and onboarding of new vendors. You will work closely with our sales and operations teams to identify and nurture relationships that will contribute to our success in the e-commerce industry.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify potential vendors and suppliers that align with our product catalogue and quality standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors to ensure a steady and diverse product range.
  • Negotiate terms and agreements with vendors to secure competitive pricing and favorable conditions.
  • Collaborate with channel partners (distributors, resellers, affiliates) to drive sales and expand market reach.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance through channel partners, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop joint marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns with channel partners.
  • Lead the onboarding process for new vendors, ensuring a smooth integration into our platform.
  • Provide vendors with necessary guidance and support to meet our operational and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to set up vendor accounts and ensure timely product listings.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and potential areas for business expansion.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of proven experience in business development, preferably in the e-commerce industry.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce operations, vendor management, and channel partner relationships.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
